We train apprentices at our head office in Zurich in the following areas:

  • Commercial employee – services and administratio (with vocational baccalaureate possible)
  • Information technologist – application developer

Commercial employee – services and administration


You will get a good grounding for your commercial apprenticeship with plenty of practical experience. The college teaching is great and at the end of the apprenticeship you will have an excellent understanding of social insurance, particularly occupational benefits. The apprenticeship is an excellent way of laying the groundwork for your future career and offers solid prospects.

You will get to see a range of business areas during your three-year apprenticeship. In addition to working in the institution's core businesses, you will spend time in HR, Accounts and Communications. You will be supported by highly qualified, experienced and dedicated mentors.

Terms of employment

  • Duration of apprenticeship: 3 years
  • Annual leave: 6 weeks plus paid youth and sport camps
  • Salary
    • Year 1:  CHF 750 gross paid in 13 monthly instalments
    • Year 2:  CHF 950 gross paid in 13 monthly instalments
    • Year 3: CHF 1,450 gross paid in 13 monthly instalments

Information technologist, application developer


IT is the lifeblood of our organisation. All operating processes run on our management platform, which was developed in house. As an apprentice, you will build up a thorough, detailed knowledge of the systems. Alongside theoretical teaching at vocational college, you will benefit from an apprenticeship with lots of practical hands-on experience. Once you have completed your apprenticeship, you will not only have an excellent understanding of application development, but also have a solid grounding in social insurance, especially occupational benefits. The apprenticeship will equip you for your future career and offers great career prospects.

During the four-year apprenticeship you will get to expand your knowledge by working on projects. You will always be supported by top-class professionals with an extensive knowledge of all aspects of IT and the core operating business. 

Terms of employment

  • Duration of apprenticeship: 4 years
  • Annual leave: 5 weeks plus paid youth and sport camps
  • Salary
    • Year 1:  CHF 750 gross paid in 13 monthly instalments
    • Year 2:  CHF 850 gross paid in 13 monthly instalments
    • Year 3: CHF 1,000 gross paid in 13 monthly instalments
    • Year 4: CHF 1,250 gross paid in 13 monthly instalments
